SA native title claim passes

Indigenous people of the Gawler Ranges on Eyre Peninsula will be granted native title over 3.5 million hectares of the region when a Federal Court ruling is handed down today.
The South Australian State Government and the Gawler Ranges people will also sign an Indigenous Land Use Agreement and Co-Management Agreement recognising the rights of the traditional owners over Lake Gairdner National Park, Lake Gilles Conservation Park and Gawler Ranges National Park
